Ziggo B.V. you hire data scientists to do churn predictions, but this is how you lose your customers: 4 replies to an angry customer, and none from you (after 4 days)!

Ivo Everts is probably the best trainer I know when it comes to signal processing and deep learning on images! Getting trained by him at 80% off the normal rate is probably the best way to start a week!

80% off! It’s a offer so good it could be on iBOOD.com!

You send an email to HR saying you won’t be at work next week because your wife will undergo surgery.

When you work at GoDataDriven this is what your wife gets the very next day.

Recruiters in the data {science, engineering} space: throwing CVs at companies — hoping one will stick — is a bad choice.

The candidate sticking might ace the interview process. You earned your fee but you made two mistakes.

A tactical mistake because burned execs won’t use your services in the future. A quick buck, ruining a relationship.

A strategical mistake as, long term, bad candidates won’t add anything to the companies they work for. These companies will likely stop with data science, diminishing the need of your profession as a whole.

It’s not that the companies don’t get it, just that they cannot afford to admit that they do"

On YouTube and its algorithms pushing radicalization.

You write “Come hack all night on your best ideas, have fun, and win prizes”

I read “Come work for free during the most valuable time of the day and if you burst your ass working for 24h straight you’ll win some useless toy”.

No, thank you.
