Q: How can we approach the energy transition without a well-thought-out plan?
A: We can’t!
The Netherlands, with less than 5% of fully-electric cars, already has a grid that cannot take it anymore.
According to the CEO of one of the largest utility companies in the Netherlands, longer waiting times are waiting for Dutch consumers who want to help with the energy transition (e.g., installing solar panels, a heat pump, or a charging station for the electric car).
The Dutch Financial Times, reported that consumers might start seeing flickering lights or blackouts on a street- or neighborhood level. 😱
“The electricity grid in residential areas is not yet designed for the speed at which consumers are making their homes more sustainable”
It took a while, but I finally got my digital certificate from the Economist Education for the professional communication training I’ve followed.
Thankful to GoDataDriven | Now Xebia for the support I received for attending the course:
Monetary support — Professional courses often don’t come for free
Time support — I was able to focus on the course without feeling I was letting the company down for my time away
Cultural support — Getting better at what you do, be it management, coding, or creating models, is not only encouraged. It’s expected, and it feels great to be pushed to improve!
Can’t wait for the app to be legally responsible if it misinterprets something where you can be dragged to court.

Excited to announce that I’ll be speaking at the upcoming #BankingRenaissance on the importance of fostering a learning culture in the financial industry.
In today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape, having data-driven and digital leaders is critical for success.
During my talk, I’ll be discussing how organizations can create a learning environment that nurtures digital literacy, innovation, and adaptability.
We’ll explore the role of technology, leadership, and employee engagement in shaping the future of banking.
As someone who has spent many years in the industry, I believe that investing in a learning culture is the key to staying ahead in the game.
