We’ve spent over a decade building the technical foundations to help organizations succeed with Data & AI. And, for about half that time, we’ve also focused heavily on the human aspect.

In 2021, I wrote Without Data Literacy, Your Organization Crumbles 🫠, which was the result of a webinar with Camilla Björkqvist MBA, discussing the work we did at Danone.

While the rise of GenAI has changed a lot, the importance of people to an organization’s success remains the same. That’s why we’re proud to continue sharing knowledge about Data & AI Literacy—this time alongside Nina Stefels and Rozaliya Khafizova!

On February 10th, we’re hosting a free webinar to discuss how organizations can avoid “crumbling” by introducing Data & AI literacy in a way that actually works.

No clear ownership, performance drops, metrics messed up, maintenance 🍝

You hoped you had thought about everything when choosing your BI system, but now you’re a mess.

We saw this over and over, so we built XBI Advisor to help you choose before it all falls apart.

This inspires so much confidence, as I just got a message from Salesforce here on LinkedIn saying

Hi @FIRSTNAME%

Eighty-one percent of today’s customers prefer to wait to speak to a human representative than use self-service. That’s because today’s chatbots just aren’t cutting it. What if you could lower costs AND boost customer satisfaction with an AI agent that can understand context and use conversational language your customers love? Introducing Agentforce Service Agent.

In the last 5 days, I’ve used more than 50% of my weekly allowance of Claude Code (and I’m not even a coder). 🤯

I’ve built entire websites, created data pipelines for RSS articles, and written Go templates.

Most of it didn’t work on the first try, but with little guidance, Claude got there, often while I was walking in the woods with Claude Code on my phone. 🌲📱

Our engineers test-tried our assessment (which used to take 8-12 hours) and a single prompt, and 5’ later, Claude figured it out (with almost flying colors).

So, if you’re not using AI-assisted coding daily, there’s a chance you’re missing out big time.

If you want to get started moving from hand-built pipelines to outcome-driven data products, we have a webinar for you. 🎯

Next week, we have a webinar. It’s the 🐐

Interesting bit about small vs large LLMs: sometimes large models are cheaper to operate because they figure out stuff with less iterations!

See this analysis of various models and the raw cost for Sonnet (more expensive to run) and Haiku.

Because Sonnet figures it out more quickly, the total cost is lower!

GenAI makes me much more efficient, except when it doesn’t.

A tale of hallucinations, with icing on the cake at the end!

How does AI solve healthcare’s most pressing problems?

It’s been millennia since humankind realized that, if you follow the advice of medicine, you can live a better and longer life (that, and avoiding carbs, apparently). The craft has been perfected ever since, and each major technological advancement has contributed to furthering this craft.

I flew ✈️ to Lisbon for the AWS GenAI for Healthcare Summit to find out how the latest advancement fits into this.   My takeaway is that AI will augment doctors and remove inefficiencies in the backend. Carbs will have to be skipped manually, though.
